Rajkumar Mishra, Smriti’s father, is a police officer currently serving as CO-Second in Bareilly. He started his career as a sub-inspector in the UP Police back in 1989 and has held various positions such as SO (Station Officer) and Inspector in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. Over the years, he received promotions and became an Inspector in 2013, and later a DSP in 2021.

Smriti had expressed her aspiration to become an IAS officer since her 10th grade, and her hard work and determination have paid off.
